Looking for something fun the whole family will enjoy? Look no further. At Wetlands Water Park, they can scream their way down a 200-foot fiberglass flume, and at Hands On! Regional Museum, they'll learn about science and nature with exciting interactive exhibits. Johnson City's Fun Expedition features batting cages, bowling, bumper cars, go-carts, mini-golf, laser tag, and an indoor climbing wall. And Boone and Watauga Lake offer the chance to fish, jet ski, or just enjoy a sunny summer day. It's almost more fun than one family can handle!

The Gray Fossil Site and Museum

The Gray Fossil Site and Museum is Tri-Cities newest attraction. The Gray Fossil Site is the only late Miocene - early Pliocene terrestrial fossil locality in the Appalachian Mountains. Recently discovered in Gray, Tennessee the deposit covers roughly 5 acres and is about 100 feet deep. The site contains well-preserved, very high quality plant and animal remains dating about 4 -8 million years old.

The new 33,000 square foot museum and visitors center features fossil displays, a gift shop, an overlook to the dig site and tours into the actual dig area. learn more

Wetlands Water Park
